My name is Jill Simons and I am a freelance graphic designer currently working in New York City. ﾠ I attended art school at Rhode Island School of Design, graduating with a BA in Graphic Design in 2005. ﾠUpon graduating, I was recruited to work for various high profile ad agencies where I gained experience promoting diverse projects with cutting edge graphics and technology.
After five years of working with some of the top ad agencies in the nation including: Lucidity Advertising, Ninja Marketing, and Alexander James, I made the move to freelancing. ﾠAs a freelancer, my world expanded, not only because of the opportunity it gave me to work with international geniuses in the advertising field such as Francois De Martan, Areena Dubrovinik, and Paul Trani, but also because I was able to free myself creatively and expand my projects to include video, web, and social media.
In addition to my design work, I started a non-profit organization, called Graphic Design Action, which helps raise awareness of the needs of impoverished countries through graphic design. ﾠTo date, the organization has raised one million dollars for projects in five developing nations.
